
Sacramento is the most flood-vulnerable city in the US. We have been hit by three devastating storms in the past 20 years that threatened widespread, uncontrolled urban flooding.

The consolidated flood assessment averages less than $64 per year -- 19 cents per day -- for a single family home. We can complete the improvements needed to bring us to 100-year safety by the end of the decade and start moving toward 200-year protections.
